An official transcript is a copy of the student's
academic record. It shows courses taken, credits earned,
grades received, the number of transfer credits accepted
and degrees or certificates received at Shoreline
Community College. An official transcript carries the
registrar's signature and the College seal.
Under usual circumstances transcripts are ready
within five (5) business days of receipt of the request.
Shoreline cannot control the amount of time until
delivery by the US Post Office. Due to the very high
volume of requests being made November through January -
and June, please consider ordering needed transcripts
from SCC as soon as possible to meet any deadline you
may have. Please expect a longer than usual processing
time during these months. We do not accept RUSH orders,
but all requests are processed in the order that they
are received. You will also need your Student ID (SID)
on the request form (How
to obtain your SID for Shoreline Community College).
Each official transcript is individually prepared and
individually sealed in an SCC Official Transcript
envelope. You must complete a Transcript Request
Form and mail the request to Registrar's Office at
Shoreline Community College with your payment. There is
a charge of $5.00 for the first copy, and $1.00 for each
additional copy on the same order.
If you received financial aid while attending SCC,
and did not complete an exit interview in person or
online, click
here. You will be taken to a page where you can
complete it. Your transcript cannot be provided until
this step is done. >
