• Persons who are just beginning the GED process must first register for the GED.  

• Please see the test schedule and note “Registration” times. GED tests are given in the 5000 (Foss) Building Room 5225. Please arrive early since space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For registration please bring:  

• Receipt showing payment of the $75 GED registration fee. (Paid at the Cashier’s counter in the FOSS building.) Photo ID which can be a Driver’s License, State ID, military ID, Tribal ID or passport.

• Social Security Card or other ID with your SSN on it.

• If under 19, a permission to test form signed by the high school principal or counselor.  

• If you need to retake a GED test the fee is $15 per retake.  

• If you began your GED at another Testing Center in Washington the fee for each test you take here is $15. 

• If you began your GED in another state the registration fee is $75. You must come to a registration session and you must have your scores mailed to Shoreline CC Testing Center directly from the other state before registration.
