Testing Center

General Information
The SCC Testing Center is available to those who plan to attend Shoreline Community College. Assessment is a way of testing your level of knowledge in certain subjects. This will give you and your advisor information to place you in appropriate classes.

The Testing Center is located in the 5000 (Foss) Building in Room 5225. You should arrive early, pay the fee at the entrance to the parking lot for a day permit and park in any student lot.

You will need to pay for a test prior to taking it. Please allow time to make a payment in advance, retain the receipt, and arrive at the Testing Center early.

Hours for the Testing Center vary based on test times. The Testing Center Schedule is posted online. The Testing Center phone number is 206-546-4608.

Additional testing services are offered at the Work Skills Assessment Center at Lake Forest Park. Certification and licensure testing are offered for IT (Microsoft, Comptia, Cisco, etc.), Association of Social Work Boards, Automotive Service Excellence and the Transportation Security Administration. COMPASS the computerized skills assessment test and CLEP (College Level Exam Program) are also available.. For more information visit the Workforce website or call 206-533-6713.
