  APA Style Guide Corrections

Fall term the BUSTC/CIS Tutoring Center  in Room 1304, Monday-Thursday, 12:30-3:30
will start on 9/28th. But is closed 10/1 & 10/5.
The Center is funded by a Carl Perkins grant for professional-technical students; (not transfer) primarily to help with the Office 2007 and basic computer applications.

What the alarms bells used to mean:

  • Fire Alarm--One continuous sound:
    • Evacuate classroom
    • Stay away from buildings
    • Return to class only when instructed by fire or security personnel
  • Lockdown notification--5 short blasts:
    • Stay in classroom, away from windows
    • Turn out lights
    • If not in classroom, enter nearest building
  • A  long, 30-to-45-second blast will give the "all clear"
    • Confusing alarm:
    • Stay in classroom
    • Call security at (206) 546-4633 or (206) 235-5860
