When are you supposed to graduate? I know I had planned on graduating this spring quarter. I mapped out all my credits, made sure all the required classes were in order and made sure that the money I got through student loans would cover it all. I filled out my application for graduation, got it turned into the school and, quite frankly, started getting excited. That is, until the final week before classes began.

Registering for a new quarter is the same song and dance every time students do it. Whether it’s done online or in person, you simply select the class you desire and hope there isn’t a long waitlist to cramp your style. And it’s a known fact that once you register for classes it is time to pay up. Otherwise, say goodbye to your seat in those classes. You will be dropped.

A smoker’s plague on campus

It’s discouraging when even as a smoker you are disgusted with other smokers. Have you been to the smoking shelters around campus? I guess smokers deserve a pat on the back for even acknowledging the existence of said smoking shelters, but really it is getting ridiculous. The cigarette butts litter the ground in such astounding amounts that it’s like walking on some sick carpet.
