Just a reminder! Applications for the Club Supplemental Budget Request are due Friday, Nov. 18. If you need a copy, you may pick one up at the Club Information Center, across from room 964 in the PUB. Here are a few club updates

1.The fencing club is available to all students. They have provided great experiences for a wide range of people; even to those with little or no experience.

For the rest of this term, they plan to meet in the Gym, Room 3026 Wednesdays from 5:15- 6:15 p.m. Their coach is Kevin Mar. He has several fencing schools around the Puget Sound area. Kevin does a wonderful job of teaching people how to start fencing and how to improve their technique. You may come and bring a friend or several friends. You may participate or just watch if you wish.

2. At this point, Rainbow Club is still looking for permanent officers for the year and is discussing the activities the students want to hold. Otherwise, their meeting information is: Mondays @ 12:30–1:30 p.m. in the Central Conference Room in the Admin Building.

3. The ASL Club meetings are on Fridays from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in room 5387. So, come to the meeting anytime.

4. The Engineering Club - “If you are interested in science and innovation. If the thought of using technology to solve problems excites you - we want to provide you with opportunities and information beyond what you are likely to get in the classroom.”

“Your level of time commitment is up to you. We invite you to participate in the activities that interest you most. You can enjoy all of the following benefits such as; guest speakers, industry tours, industry and academic contacts, workshops, leadership and teamwork opportunities, real world projects, and friendly competition.”

Remember: Membership and involvement look great on a resume or personal statement to a University! The engineering club’s email is: ENGRCLUB@SHORELINE.EDU .

5. Hip Hop Elements (club) “Anyone can come only if you’re interested in the music and culture. Or if you just want to have fun. We don’t accept bootlegs, rappers, gangstas, and want to be thugs.” They meet every Wednesday @ 1 p.m. in the Multicultural center in the PUB.

Remember, it’s never too late to join a club!
