Note: To apply for a job listed below, you must get a referral from the college’s Career Employment Services Office, located in Foss 5228 (behind registration). Hours are 8 a.m. to 5p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

DRIVER/COMPANION FOR ELDERLY MAN WITH PARKINSON’S

Personal driver/companion for 73 year old man with Parkinson’s disease. Weekday driving to appointments and social engagements. Helpful: experience in physical medicine, rehab, and patient care. Necessary: driver’s license; calm, competent and pleasant attitude. Salary and schedule negotiable.

PART-TIME NANNY

Near Campus. Two boys, ages 4 and 6, need in-home care two days per week. The 6 year old is in school. Call for more info.

OFFICE ASSISTANT - ON CAMPUS

On SCC campus. Assist department secretary with bookkeeping duties for 4 accounts. Including purchase orders, accounts payable, posting, account reconciliation, and filing. Also will help with mailings, need to be experienced with Word (especially mail merge) and Excel. 12 hours per week, Winter and Spring quarters, $10.13 per hour. Send a resume. This is not a work-study position.

DINING ROOM SERVERS

Serve residents in dining area of a retirement center. Take food/beverage orders, serve, set and clear tables. May be asked to help with food preparation, dish and kitchen cleanup.

Must have good work ethic (willingness to take direction, cooperative teamwork attitude, punctual and dependable attendance). Must be capable of standing for a long period of time, and frequently lifting loads of up to 20 lbs. Evening shift with some weekend hours.

DISHWASHERS

Clean dishes for the main dining area of a retirement center. Clean food service areas, equipment and utensils. Deliver food to other areas of the facility. PART-TIME BABYSITTER

Part-time babysitter needed for 1 year-old twins (boy & girl). Three blocks from Shoreline CC. Schedule is somewhat flexible but Tuesday & Thursday afternoons, five hours per week preferred. Pay is negotiable. Position to start immediately.

PART-TIME NANNY

Work with a family in the Shoreline area caring for their two school-aged children. 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 3 - 6pm. More hours in the summer months. Must have experience working with children, a valid driver’s license, and must be able to make a one year commitment. $12 - $15 per hour.

PART-TIME OFFICE HELP

Part-time position available with clinic in Shoreline. Late afternoon, 2-4 hour per day, faxing/mailing patient letters and filing. Must be dependable, accurate and task oriented. Prefer nursing student or student maintaining above-average GPA. Hourly rate is negotiable.

ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

Seeking senior (55 & over) to work in Sand Point senior program. 30 hrs/week, $9.56 per hour plus benefits. Temporary position, duration depends on funding. Primarily processes Freedom of Information Act requests, serve as administrative support - phones, fax, filing, travel orders.

FOOD SERVER/BUSSER

Near Campus. Serve meals in formal restaurant setting to residents and guests in a pleasant & enjoyable manner; cleaning duties include work areas, tables, appliances, and floors; assist in dish and utensil washing; Part-time, less than 20 hours per week, various days.

FOOD SERVER/HOST

Bellevue. Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, established portion control procedures, and established cleanliness standards; assists in ensuring proper storage of raw and leftover foods, ensuring work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner and that necessary equipment and supplies are properly maintained and arranged. We offer an excellent benefits package.

FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST/SECURITY

Near Campus, Shoreline. Maintain security presence, answer phones, respond to emergencies, greet & guide visitors, residents; perform clerical support duties as assigned; and perform daily check in duties with all community members. Weekends (F-S) 11pm to 7am.

PART-TIME IN A NATURAL FOODS STORE

Mountlake Terrace. 20-24 hours per week receiving incoming grocery orders and working in the bulk foods department. Must be able to work Tuesday and Friday all day. Additional 4-8 hours are more flexible. This position requires constant heavy lifting. $8 per hour to start.

PART-TIME TELEMARKETING

Shoreline. Telemarketing positions open for students 18 years and older. One hour per day with good pay. Interviews conducted daily.
