Neighbors called the College May 19 after hearing what sounded like chain saws. In the southeast woods across from the 800 Building, Security found what was classified as destruction of property. Hammers and shovels were left at the scene. The suspects were apparently cutting down trees to create their own bike jumps, said Sgt. Becky Gibler, adding that this isn’t the first time.
