Part-time temporary dog daycare

Pay Rate: $5.00-$9.99/hour. Starts at $8/hr Time of Day: Mornings Days Needed: Friday, Monday, Thursday, Tuesday, Wednesday Immediate opening for a temporary, part-time dog handler at a doggie daycare. Morning shift, 6-11 am. Duties include: managing the day-to-day activities of dogs, tracking and addressing behavior issues, customer service, cleaning & disingecting facility, toys and equipment. Housing counselor position available at Kenmore shelter. Approximately 6 hours per week, Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 11pm. Interviews client families & individuals to determine eligibility for services, responds to emergencies, provides counseling to clients, makes referrals to other agencies, mediates disputes, explains & enforces program policies, and maintains logs & records. 1-2 years experience with families in crisis helpful; verbal, written, and organization skills; AA degree in social services or related field helpful; basic computer skills required; and able to work independently. $10.50 per hour, DOE.
