Go see Tahiti 80 with Orbiter and John Auer Nov. 15 at the Crocodile. $12 Adv. or $14 DOS. Tahiti 80 is a group of four Parisians with a perchance for 60's rock reminiscent of The Beatles and the Kinks. Find out for yourselves if all those French stereotypes are true.
Go see The Crystal Method and guests Nov.16 at the Northgate Music Theatre. $20 adv. or $25 DOS, doors at 9. The Crystal Method bridges the gap between electronic music and all others. Also, this kind of music and drugs go really well together.
Go see Del the Funky Homosapien with Motion Man featuring Kut Master Kurt and the Lifesavas Nov. 17 at the Showbox. $20 adv. (all ages, bar with ID). Del is the best wordsmith to ever grace a stage, take one of his more memorable lyrics, "kookier than X-Files, fruity like a pedophile."
Go sing Rockaraoke Nov. 20 and every other Wednesday at the Sunset Tavern. Go live out your rock 'n' roll fantasies with the legendary Kathleen Turner Overdrive as your back-up band.
Go see The Mighty Mighty Bosstones with Bigwig and Simple Plan Nov. 24 at the Showbox. $15 adv. $17 DOS, doors at 7 (all ages, bar with ID). The Bosstones are from Boston and they play a great ska-punk set, just hope Dicky's voice is up for the challenge.
Go see Ozomatli and guests Dec. 10 at the Showbox. $TBA, doors at 8. The guys in Ozomatli's brand of Spanish influenced hip-hop will make you wish you smoked a phat bowl before the show, so don't forget to, uh, well you know what I mean.
