It's election time, Seattle-style

Voters! The Washington state General Election will occur on Nov. 5.

Voter qualifications include: U.S. citizenship, Washington state residency and age of majority (18 years old) by Election Day.

To participate, one must register at least 30 days before an election if using the Motor Voter program or by mail. The Motor Voter program allows residents to register to vote while acquiring a driver's license or identification card.

If registering in person, one reports to the office of the county auditor or elections department 15 days prior to the election.

If you've missed the deadline for registration this go-around, too bad. You have no one to blame but yourself. If you are registered to vote, bully for you! You are a good citizen. And finally, if you are a registered voter yet remain undecided on the issues and candidates on the ballot, you are in luck.
