This SCC winter play makes menopause hot flashes refreshing to watch.

Blanche, a woman in her 50s in New Orleans enjoys being splashed with cold beer, as she desperately tries to appease her desire for a young census worker.

Blanche's desire is inversely proportional to the amount of sex she actually gets, and the men around her, like the census boy, are either intimidated, or, like her alcoholic housemate Stanley, irritated by her outspoken sex drive and unpredictable mood swings.
