If you’re like 20 to 30 percent of Americans, you may very well be. S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) is a type of depression that comes with the change in seasons. The depression has been found to set in when the days grow shorter and recede when the days get longer again. It typically occurs in the fall and winter months, and the generally accepted theory for S.A.D.’s cause is the amount of light people are exposed to.
