The Death with Dignity Act, passed in Nov. 2008, is a tough subject for many. It was passed for adults who are terminally ill and only have six months to live.

To get approved for the act, the patient needs to get two doctors to say that they have six months or less to live; the process goes on and on. What do you do to stay perky in the winter?

Sam Vannoy

I just keep my goal in mind: that I want to
make life better for me and my partner. And I
just bare-knuckle it, you know, like when you're
waiting for the bus in the cold.

Yabom Sankoh

I exercise and try to get a lot of sleep. And I try
to do well in school. I also try to help out others
when I can, like with haiti.

CJ Thomas

I stay inside, go to more indoor functions
than outdoor, like basketball games. Lots of
warm drinks, like hot cocoa with the little
marshmallows.
