We all get them. Dozens a day littering our e-mail boxes waiting only to be opened. “You’ve won a free plasma screen TV! Click here to claim you’re prize!” or “One year of Quizno‘s sandwiches!” The Internet not only allowed us the opportunity to access the worlds largest database of information, it also allowed advertisers and con artists a new medium in which to practice their craft.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem. This third person shooter came and went without being noticed by many. The controls are easy to grasp, and fairly intuitive. The game incorporates a magic system where you put spells together by finding runes and recipes to form a myriad of different effects. Each of the spells are powered by an ancient god chosen at the beginning of the game.

McAfee anti-virus software, one of the worlds best-selling of it’s kind, has released an update (DAT 4715) that can render essential Windows components useless because an error in programming targets programs that the update perceives as being Windows viruses.
