Organization

Student presents information in a logical, interesting sequence which makes it easy for the audience to follow.

Student usually presents information in a logical, interesting sequence, and even though there is some occasional jumping around, the audience can follow along.

Student jumps around with no logical sequence making it difficult for the audience to follow along.

 

Content Knowledge

Student demonstrates full knowledge of content and can answer audience questions easily and fully.

 

 

Student seems a bit uncomfortable and is able to provide only rudimentary information.

Student does not exhibit clear understanding of content and cannot answer audience questions.

 

Mechanics

Presentation has no spelling or grammar errors.

Presentation has a couple of spelling or grammar errors, between 1 – 3.

Presentation has too many spelling or grammar errors, more than 4 or 5.

 

Language Usage

Student almost always uses appropriate  grammar

Delivery

Student speaks in a clear voice at the appropriate volume and words are pronounced clearly and without hesitation

Student sometimes speaks in a low voice .  Pronunciation of words are sometimes unclear, and delivered with some hesitation

Student speaks too low making it difficult for everyone to hear.  Pronunciation of words are not clear and often with hesitation
