* SCC Gallery presents Transition Gadgets, paintings by former Seattle artist, Lun-Yi Tsai

SHORELINE - Paintings by former local artist, Lun-Yi Tsai are on display in a solo exhibition at the College Gallery at Shoreline Community College through the month of April.  In “Transition Gadgets,” Tsai’s works are painted with wax colors and fixed with heat.  The images are inspired by the vivid colors of his new home in Miami.

Tsai, brought up in an artist’s family and trained as a mathematician, combines art and mathematics into lyrical drawings, paintings and sculpture, revealing the connections between the two disciplines.
